[04:23:37] <Roklobsta> jesus, avrstudio6 is so bloaty my new SSD still takes ages to load it up. WTF
[04:54:28] <jacekowski> Roklobsta: cpu bound?
[04:54:42] <Roklobsta> i7
[04:56:04] <OndraSter> I don't have any issue with AS6 on my PC
[04:56:09] <OndraSter> SSD/i5
[09:22:58] <megal0maniac_afk> Oh gross. Mitsubishi uses Jungo too
[09:23:55] <OndraSter> Mitsubishi!
[09:23:58] <OndraSter> I like their cars
[09:34:03] <RikusW> why use jungo when winusb will work just as well and its free ?... :S
[11:33:51] <braincracker> h
[12:01:12] <abcminiuser_> What have I missed?
[12:01:33] <rue_house> hmm, not sure
[12:03:29] <Tom_itx> me?
[12:04:30] <rue_house> abc
[12:04:34] <abcminiuser_> Cue romantic music
[12:05:14] <Tom_itx> abcminiuser_, you still a party of one up there?
[12:06:10] <abcminiuser_> Jupp, although I want to move back home soonish
[12:06:13] <Tom_itx> abcminiuser_, your SSD is outdated
[12:06:18] <Tom_itx> http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/08/130811150605.htm
[12:06:19] <abcminiuser_> I know :(
[12:06:37] <abcminiuser_> When I'm back in Aus I'll build a real desktop
[12:06:47] <abcminiuser_> I only use laptops for the mobility
[12:07:17] <Tom_itx> you're not gonna stay up there long?
[12:07:37] <abcminiuser_> I have pressure from girlfriend and family to move back next year
[12:08:19] <Tom_itx> guess you gotta decide if it's a stepping stone or a career
[12:08:38] <abcminiuser_> Didn't say I had to quit...
[12:09:28] <Tom_itx> gonna go to work in your pjs?
[12:10:12] <Tom_itx> or do they have an office in Au?
[12:10:22] <abcminiuser_> No office that I know of
[12:10:27] <abcminiuser_> Need to discuss it with my boss
[12:10:37] <abcminiuser_> But I don't want to leave Atmel
[12:25:12] <Tom_itx> if i landed that opportunity i probably wouldn't either
[13:30:15] <OndraSter> abcminiuser_, coming to the central europe for a trip before you leave?
[13:33:54] <abcminiuser_> Possibly, always wanted to take a European holiday...
[13:48:48] <pingo> I just soldered a ds18B20 sensor to a usb to ttl adapter and now the sensor constantly shows a 3 degrees too high temperature, could I have damaged it when soldering (overheat?)
[13:54:34] <abcminiuser_> Possible I guess
[13:54:48] <abcminiuser_> Does it have some sort of calibration procedure?
[13:55:00] <pingo> dont think so
[13:55:29] <pingo> With jumper wires the temp. was spot on
[13:55:44] <pingo> Then I soldered it on and now it is off by 3
[13:57:46] <abcminiuser_> Well I suppose it's possible it was overcooked
[13:58:10] <megal0maniac> What are you comparing to?
[13:58:21] <pingo> I have another one
[13:58:28] <megal0maniac> There's no calibration register, only resolution selection
[13:58:55] <pingo> I connected 2 of them via jumper wires and temps were identical
[13:59:04] <pingo> Then I soldered one and temp difference is now 3
[13:59:35] <megal0maniac> Any changes in the way you're reading the temp?
[13:59:47] <pingo> none
[14:00:02] <pingo> the only thing that changed is that now it is soldered to the adapter
[14:00:14] <megal0maniac> Then maybe you put too much heat to a temperature sensitive device :)
[14:01:20] <pingo> oh well
[14:52:29] <pingo> hmm perhpas the heat of the adapter is transfering to the sensor
[14:52:36] <pingo> ill try using a longer wire
[15:05:56] <abcminiuser_> Christ I've forgotten my LUFA release procedure
[15:06:02] <abcminiuser_> Ah well, think I've got it now
[15:06:26] <Tom_itx> abcminiuser_, know any good stream capture program?
[15:06:30] <Tom_itx> ubuntu
[15:06:43] <abcminiuser_> Not for Linux :P
[15:06:48] <abcminiuser_> What sort of stream?
[15:06:56] <Tom_itx> i had one but can't remember what it was now
[15:07:00] <Tom_itx> video
[15:07:03] <Tom_itx> ie youtube
[15:07:21] <abcminiuser_> I just use a Firefox extension :P
[15:07:29] <Tom_itx> what is it?
[15:07:40] <Tom_itx> maybe that was it...
[15:07:55] <abcminiuser_> Err
[15:08:27] <abcminiuser_> Hrm, looks like it's disappeared
[15:08:35] <abcminiuser_> Probably wasn't compatible with the latest upgrade
[15:08:52] <abcminiuser_> Ah no, it was a Greasemonkey script
[15:09:59] <Roklobsta> downloadhelper
[15:10:29] <abcminiuser_> There's probably real extensions too, but I just used a script from userscripts.org
[15:13:29] <Tom_itx> i found a couple i'll try
[15:14:53] <soul-d> what you want to capture ?
[15:15:02] <soul-d> vlc can open some youtubes
[15:15:18] <soul-d> or if its flash look for flash cache script
[15:16:14] <RikusW> Tom_itx: minitube
[15:16:35] <RikusW> download helper for firefox can save vids too
[15:53:12] <abcminiuser_> http://fourwalledcubicle.com/blog/2013/08/lufa-130901-beta-released/
[15:53:16] <abcminiuser_> I'm off to bed
[15:53:17] <abcminiuser_> Night all
