[13:22:59] <Kha123> Hi
[14:17:56] <soil-d> :) anyone know what reg the UCPHA is contained in im trying usart isp the mega32u2 speaks of it shows code but includes don't contian it unless there is some special one can't find it anywhere defined in aregister in datasheet only talked about
[14:18:33] <soil-d> datasheet sets it in UCSRnC in wich it is not defined
[14:18:50] <soil-d> ofcourse im looking in my ucsr1c
[14:20:11] <Ninjaneer`> UCPHAn is in UCSRnC
[14:21:01] <Ninjaneer`> see 19.7.4 in the datasheet, page 183
[14:21:54] <Ninjaneer`> Bit #1
[14:24:24] <Ninjaneer`> that help? :)
[14:30:59] <soil-d> only a little confirms i was gambling on right bit manually ah well probably should try make it work with out usb so i can debug it better
[14:35:09] <Ninjaneer`> What are you trying to do?
[14:35:45] <soil-d> reading adc from microchip spi the mcp3204
[14:37:05] <soil-d> but it's on a lufa enabled board so might be nasty to debug using usb <>serial to get back data before having a working routine
[14:37:11] <soil-d> just copyed the datasheet :P
[14:39:29] <Ninjaneer`> If you are using SPI More 0 (probably the most common, and is supported by the MCP3204 as per its datasheet) then UCPOL and UCPHA are both set to zero.
[14:39:37] <Ninjaneer`> +Mode
[14:40:25] <soil-d> lets try that for some reason i came out on 1 ,1
[14:42:52] <Ninjaneer`> A logic analyzer is highly useful here so you can directly observe what's happening on the SPI bus :)
[14:43:50] <soil-d> yeah maybe should get it out
[15:55:27] <MarkX_> hey
[15:55:55] <N1njaneer> Hey Mark, figure your stuff out? :D
[15:55:56] <MarkX_> quick question. is it possible i can change the author section that is automatically generated when i create a new solution in atmel studio 6?
[15:56:25] <MarkX_> N1njaneer: yep! made it better too! got rid of the nasty method of printing and am now using sprintf :)
[15:56:35] <N1njaneer> Awesome! That's great to hear.
[15:56:47] <MarkX_> might shift over to vsprintf soon but that can wait a bit
[16:09:00] <N1njaneer> MarkX: You mean changing what stuff gets added to the top of a file when you add a .c or .h or such to a project?
[16:10:06] <MarkX_> N1njaneer: exactly, it automatically adds information like author and time/date of creation. would be nice to add some other stuff and possibly edit what gets added
[16:10:58] <N1njaneer> Yeah, check out /Program File (x86)/Atmel/Atmel Studio 6.1/itemtemplates and look in the .zip files
[16:11:17] <MarkX_> nice! thanks
[16:13:15] <N1njaneer> If you change/copy those files over in to /Users/USERNAME/My Documents/Atmel Studio/Templates/ItemTemplates you can add instances specific to your username account on the machine
[16:15:41] <N1njaneer> Open up the .vstemplate file and look for the <TemplateData> tag. Here you can change the nake and desciption that appear in AVR Studio when creating a new item, so you can make it more descriptive. So do like <Name>C File With Custom Text</Name> and <Description>A blank C file with custom text.</Description> for instance. You can ever get fancy and change the icon file, too :)
[16:16:16] <MarkX_> ah
[16:16:18] <MarkX_> beautiful
[16:16:28] <MarkX_> thanks a lot! i'll try it in a bit
[16:16:58] <N1njaneer> As a hint (if you were unaware) -- AVRStudio 6 is built on top of Visual Studio's IDE framework, so if you ever need IDE-specific questions you can always try searching for the answer on Google if you put in Visual Studio rather than AVR Studio
[16:17:36] <N1njaneer> Aside from the Atmel-specific items, everything is fairly identical in general functionality.
[17:38:16] <megal0maniac_afk> OndraSter: Hello I see your site myxboard.net I'd like to buy one please?
[17:51:30] <OndraSter> megal0maniac_afk, ?
[17:51:34] <OndraSter> did the domain expire ffs?
[17:51:35] <OndraSter> I paid it
[17:51:36] <OndraSter> idiots
[17:51:42] <megal0maniac_afk> :P
[17:51:43] <OndraSter> no, it works
[17:51:50] <Tom_itx> it saiz yer not set up to take money
[17:52:06] <megal0maniac_afk> So I must talk to you here
[17:52:31] <Tom_itx> or in ##xboard
[17:52:46] <megal0maniac_afk> Tom_itx: You should join ##xboard. It's a party
[17:53:20] <OndraSter> hell yeah
[17:53:33] <OndraSter> sorry, I am in game right now
[17:53:35] <OndraSter> playing UHC :D
[17:53:38] <OndraSter> in Minecraft
[17:54:20] <OndraSter> (survival where you do not regenerate health other than by special apples)
[17:54:30] <megal0maniac_afk> So minecraft >> business? :(
[17:54:33] <OndraSter> ;D
[17:54:37] <OndraSter> on saturday-sunday yes
[17:54:41] <megal0maniac_afk> That sounds sketchy
[17:56:18] <megal0maniac_afk> "special apples"
[17:56:28] <OndraSter> haha
[17:56:31] <OndraSter> golden apples
[17:56:37] <OndraSter> apples surounded by 4 golden ingots
[17:56:38] <megal0maniac_afk> ...right
[17:56:40] <OndraSter> err
[17:56:41] <OndraSter> 8*
[17:56:44] <OndraSter> :P
[17:57:03] <megal0maniac_afk> I'm afk so whatevs
[17:57:25] <megal0maniac_afk> Tom_itx: I think your post office is failing me
[17:57:43] <megal0maniac_afk> Yes. YOUR post office.
[18:01:00] <megal0maniac_afk> Do parcels usually leave the country from Miami?
[18:01:00] <specing> OndraSter: tried minetest?
[18:02:44] <megal0maniac_afk> Goodnight!
[18:08:40] <OndraSter> specing, yes
[18:09:11] <Tom_itx> megal0maniac_afk?
[18:09:16] <Tom_itx> how's that?
[21:23:26] <braincracker> h
