[04:28:15] * RikusW is still getting statements for that photoresist mixed of a year ago :S :'(
[04:28:41] <RikusW> seems like the RS accounting system is screwed...
[04:30:01] <RikusW> *mixup
[06:21:14] <buhman> I was looking at doing SPI between multiple devices, and I was looking at https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fc/SPI_three_slaves.svg ; why isn't SS connected during ISP?
[06:22:13] <buhman> furthermore, I'd wondered if there was something special about the MOSI/MISO/SCK pins on each microcontroller (that is, if I want the microcontroller to be the master).
[06:23:11] <buhman> because I'm not sure what would happen if the microcontroller was trying to drive on MOSI/MISO/SCK/SS and the ISP decides to try to speak
[06:23:21] <buhman> (or is that what the reset pin is for)
[06:23:41] <karlp> that is what reset is for
[06:23:52] <karlp> also, see the avr hardware design considerations app note
[06:24:00] <karlp> which talks specifically about how to lay out the spi lines for this case
[06:25:28] <buhman> "Atmel AVR042: AVR Hardware Design Considerations" this?
[06:28:21] <karlp> sounds about right,
[06:29:00] <Tom_itx> you connect each one miso - mosi, ss can be used but generally a gpio is used to enable the slaves
[06:29:35] <Tom_itx> then cpol cpha is set to determine the master, slave, phase and polarity iirc
[06:32:25] <Tom_itx> as the name implies, the roles change of the pins depending if it is a master or slave: Master Out Slave In
[06:39:21] <inflex> lo folks
[06:41:23] <Tom_itx> hey inflex
[11:51:06] <mitsakos> hello, do you know if there is an option in eagle cadsoft to change a single pad of a footprint in layout editor not to open the library and change it?
[12:08:34] <Tom_itx> not if it's a lib part
[12:08:48] <Tom_itx> it must be changed in the lib
[12:15:40] <RikusW> I'd rather make a copy if thats possible
[12:16:02] <Tom_itx> that's why i hve so many parts in my own lib
[12:16:21] <Tom_itx> easy way to copy the part: open a new library
[12:16:55] <Tom_itx> from the CONTROL PANNEL window scroll down to the part you want and right click on it
[12:17:05] <Tom_itx> it will ask you to save it to the new lib
[12:17:36] <Tom_itx> then edit away
[12:33:09] <mitsakos> yes but if you want in a specific pcb to make a specific pad long it is useless to make a new part for this
[12:33:48] <RikusW> why do you want to do that anyways ?
[12:34:09] <RikusW> can't you just put a wide track on there ?
[12:35:07] <mitsakos> yes this maybe a solution
[12:49:18] <amee2k> hm. can ltspice measure duty cycle? o.O
[13:15:23] * RikusW is getting some ENC28J60's, time to toy around with ethernet :)
[13:37:47] * dofidum could use an RTC example in the form of source code...
[13:41:35] * specing prepares tissues for wiping
[13:41:54] <specing> OMG WHY DID RIKUS QUIT AGAIN
[13:42:29] <Steffanx> Not everyone can be online 24/7 specing
[13:56:57] <specing> Steffanx: I can!
[13:57:05] <Steffanx> Yes, you can
[13:59:12] <karlp> I can too :)
[13:59:28] <karlp> actually, today I just crossed 400 days uptime.
[13:59:33] <karlp> go linode!
[14:12:09] <mitsakos> if i configure the analog comperator on Comparator interrupt on output toggle what it is supposed to do? interrupt when AIN1 comes lower than AIN0 only or also when AIN1 comes higher than AIN0 ? I want to built a real time clock and use a backup batter so i have to check the voltage level to see if i'm runing on battery or not to bring mcu in sleep mode
[15:26:14] <GNUtoo-desktop> hi, I just found out that the delay changed, I re-read the manual and I still don't get how to get delay as long as before
[15:26:25] <GNUtoo-desktop> in a way that is readable
[15:26:48] <GNUtoo-desktop> not a for loop with multiples _delay_ms inside
[16:16:13] <GNUtoo-desktop> I did something really stupid, I put the #define __DELAY_BACKWARD_COMPATIBLE__ after the includes....
[16:16:15] <GNUtoo-desktop> now it works
[19:00:53] <ferdna> check this out:
[19:00:53] <ferdna> http://milwaukeemakerspace.org/2012/04/pcb-with-lasered-paint-resist-and-fast-sponge-etching/
[19:00:58] <ferdna> CapnKernel, ^
[19:08:07] <grummund> ya that is cool
[19:11:24] <ferdna> grummund, yeah! =)
[21:27:09] <ferdna> test
[21:27:21] <Roklobsta|2> testicle
[21:59:09] <inflex> ovary
[21:59:34] <Roklobsta|2> gonad. That's a good name for an AVR project. The Gonad.
