12:15 AM fluffywolf: it's not a criminal act. if you take a paperclip home from work, that's a criminal act, and your boss can have you charged for it. but absolutely nothing an employer can do is criminal.

12:15 AM roycroft: working for oneself gets around that particular problem
12:15 AM roycroft: but brings on a whole slew of others

12:15 AM fluffywolf: your boss can go "yeah, I've decided not to pay you. get stuffed.", and there is literally nothing you can do about it. the only thing you can attempt to do is complain to the aforementioned agency that doesn't actually do anything.

Dad had a replacement carb so I thought I would swap it out. When I unhooked the fuel line to the carb - gas came out with perfect balls of water...

09:12 PM NetPipe: im working on a little app that takes microphone voice input and generates gcode in different modes like m300 beeper or stepper xy backand forth or circle square mode. want to be able to stream it live. https://github.com/netpipe/GCODE-Tools/blob/master/gTalker/main.cpp not fully ready yet though i just tested it.
