02:43 PM andypugh: Does anyone understand why buildbot2 isn’t making debs for Bullseye?
02:44 PM andypugh: I think this is the issue, but Buster and Bookworm build:
02:44 PM andypugh: dh_installdocs: error: Cannot find (any matches for) "usr/share/doc/linuxcnc/LinuxCNC_Developer_de.pdf" (tried in ., debian/tmp)
02:44 PM andypugh: (It’s a docs problem, it seems)
03:16 PM robert1: andypugh: isn't that error caused by a too old po4a?
03:19 PM robert1 is now known as rmu
04:13 PM andypugh: Possibly, but how can we fix it?
04:59 PM andypugh: Bullseye has po4a 0.62, we back-ported 0.67 to our Buster repo. I am not sure if it would help to do the same for Bullseye. (As I am not sure where the builbot looks for packages)
05:03 PM rmu: i have no idea unfortunately
05:08 PM Tom_L: andypugh, i think bullseye was the one that got overlooked targeting bookworm for the new release
05:08 PM andypugh: Yes, but, we do support it.
05:09 PM Tom_L: that's just what i recollect
05:09 PM andypugh: And the buildbot has a bullseye worker. Which has been failing since October
05:09 PM andypugh: But did work before then, I think.
05:09 PM Tom_L: i know when the push for 2.9 was going that was the target os for the debian mainstream release
05:10 PM Tom_L: 'that' being bookworm
05:10 PM Tom_L: i lost the link to the new buildbot as well. thought i bookmarked it
05:13 PM andypugh: I don’t want to have to build all the deb packages for all the variants by hand again…
05:13 PM andypugh: That was a lot of work.
05:13 PM Tom_L: i bet
05:15 PM Tom_L: andypugh, http://buildbot2.highlab.com/debian/dists/bullseye/master-uspace/binary-amd64/
05:16 PM Tom_L: 10/01 seems to be the latest one
05:16 PM andypugh: I am more interested in http://buildbot2.highlab.com/debian/dists/bullseye/2.9-uspace/binary-amd64/
05:17 PM andypugh: 2023-10-13 02:07
05:17 PM Tom_L: i haven't tried any of those
05:18 PM Tom_L: i did install a rpi one he built though
05:19 PM andypugh: Well, they are very old. My point is that the builbot isn’t building some of the packages that I need it to. (it’s not building _anything_ on builbot one at the moment because the Wheezy disc isn’t writable.
05:20 PM andypugh: (So no 32-bit Pi images, which it the only thing that we need thay BB2 isn’t doing)
05:34 PM rmu: the github ci seems to install po4a 0.67 for all debians it builds
05:41 PM andypugh: So, it’s probaly not that then?
05:44 PM andypugh: Where did you see it installing 0.67?
05:44 PM Tom_L: is buster the last 32bit os built?

05:45 PM rmu: https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/2715
05:45 PM andypugh: I will look tomorrow, I have an early morning tomorrow
05:46 PM andypugh: Actually, I will look on Sunday, tomorrow is busy.
05:47 PM rmu: the issue the issue more or less says the error goes away if you install newer po4a. maybe pere can comment
