#linuxcnc-devel Calendar
12:50 AM pere: as far as I can tell, both failing buildbot builds was restored when the more reliable g0 test was merged.
03:04 AM pere: Almost every other reference I find uses G00 and G01 instead of G0 and G1. Why is LinuxCNC using only one digit for these in the docs and program?
03:06 AM pere: Haas, CNC Cookbook, Planet CNC and even Wikipedia uses G01.
04:22 AM silopolis[m]: pere: challenge accepted! Finish before wife's holidays end of next week 👍💪

05:04 AM pere: silopolis[m]: great. :)
09:50 AM pere: jepler[m]: around?
10:42 AM jepler[m]: pere: not really
10:44 AM jepler[m]: In the very bad old days, fields of g-code were fixed length, often with implied decimal places. (I did not experience these days first hand). Writing Gxx always with two decimal places is probably a relic of those days. see e.g., the related gerber format which is apparently this way even today. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerber_format#Extended_Gerber
10:44 AM jepler[m]: X76649990Y36899980D02*
10:44 AM jepler[m]: if that doesn't make you cry, I don't know what will
10:44 AM pere: jepler[m]: busy days?
10:45 AM pere: jepler[m]: as hans is busy with the family, I wonder if you got time to merge the documentation related pull requests to short down the list of open pull requests.
10:45 AM jepler[m]: I am in the midst of trying to make a digital camera library work with a microcontroller, but several things about it are very inconvenient. It's kinda on a deadline. At the same time, I have a friend visiting from abroad so I'd like to spend as much time with her as possible.
10:46 AM jepler[m]: are there some that are relatively 'easy' ?
10:46 AM pere: I find them all easy. :) let me get a list.

10:49 AM pere: what exactly is a digital camera library?
10:59 AM pere: aha

11:29 PM pere: anyone know where <URL: http://buildbot.linuxcnc.org/buildbot/builders/4041.deb-buster-rtpreempt-amd64/builds/1967/steps/shell_4/logs/warnings%20%2847%29 > come from? I fail to find the misspelled words in debian/changelog.
