04:16 PM pere: JT-Shop: forward, but hit a snag with the spindle controller. It error out with "Inverter I O C" and no idea why.
04:16 PM pere: got the axis and most of the rest of the machine controlled by linuxcnc.

04:18 PM pere: btw, what is the difference between inverter and converter? Both can report IOC (which I believe is some overcurrent error), but I do not really understand where the error is supposed to be.

04:20 PM pere: is inverter the computer controlled transistor rack and the converter what I would otherwise call the rectifier, or is it the other way around or something completely different?
