06:32 AM JT-Cave: jepler, when I log in to the forum it says New release '20.04.1 LTS' available. Run 'do-release-upgrade' to upgrade to it. Is this safe to do?
09:06 AM jepler: Jt-cave: I wouldn't do it without a way of testing first
09:06 AM JT-Cave: ok
09:15 AM mozmck: JT-Cave: are you using 20.04 for compiling docs?
10:13 AM JT-Cave: mozmck, I use Debian 10, I assume 20.04 is Ubuntu?
10:35 AM mozmck: JT-Cave: Yes. Does that have Asciidoc 9? I installed 20.04 recently and it has asciidoc 9 and it was giving me all kinds of errors building the docs.
11:36 AM JT-Cave: mozmck, let me check
11:37 AM JT-Cave: john@d10cave:~$ asciidoc --version
11:37 AM JT-Cave: asciidoc 8.6.10
11:40 AM mozmck: JT-Cave: thanks. It's actually Linuxmint 20 I installed but that is based on ubuntu 20.04. Looks like something changed in asciidoc 9 that will need some attention. I also had to edit a config file to give imagemagick permission to convert images to pdf.
11:43 AM JT-Cave: it's always fun in linux land :)
