04:37 AM jthornton: jepler: thanks
06:15 AM jthornton: I changed to the buildbot key but still get this error W: GPG error: http://linuxcnc.org stretch Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 3CB9FD148F374FEF
06:15 AM jthornton: complete terminal from the install https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/jnF5MwrvgT/
07:20 AM Tom_L: jthornton, 3cb9fd148f374fef is no longer valid?
07:36 AM jthornton: Tom_L: I have no clue
07:48 AM jepler: jthornton: did you add BOTH KEYS
07:48 AM jepler: with TWO APT WHATEVER INVOCATIONS
07:56 AM jthornton: no, it was a complete new install from scratch
07:57 AM jthornton: the terminal is everything I did after booting up into debian 9
08:01 AM jthornton: I did use the package manager to install the latest rt kernel then after the reboot I did the rest
08:18 AM jepler: each apt repository can have its own signing key
08:18 AM jepler: linuxcnc.org and buildbot.linuxcnc.org each have different signing keys
08:19 AM jepler: you need to import both keys if you are going to use both repos
08:22 AM jthornton: ok thanks
08:23 AM jthornton: awesome that works, thanks so much for looking at that
09:44 AM rene_dev_: test
09:44 AM JT-Shop: worked
10:02 AM JT-Shop: I still don't see how I'm using both repositories...
10:19 AM rene_dev_: what both repos?
10:29 AM JT-Shop: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/jnF5MwrvgT/
10:29 AM JT-Shop: the fix was to add both keys
11:09 AM seb_kuzminsky: JT-Shop: in the paste you linked, you add the key for the buildbot (line 35), then add the apt source for linuxcnc.org (line 107)
11:10 AM seb_kuzminsky: then it complains that you're missing the key for linuxcnc.org (line 119, 120)
11:10 AM seb_kuzminsky: win 10
11:10 AM seb_kuzminsky: oops
11:14 AM Tom_L: win10 was a big oops now wasn't it :D
11:19 AM seb_kuzminsky: my secret identity as a windows user is blown!
11:21 AM Tom_L: and of all the choices... 10
11:21 AM Tom_L: :(
11:54 AM jthornton: seb_kuzminsky: if I just have the linuxcnc.org key I get a key error
12:03 PM jthornton: well I don't know what happened yesterday but I just deleted both keys then put linuxcnc.org key in and no errors
12:07 PM jthornton: I'll just quit wondering now and get on with testing the program
