09:35 AM jepler_: seb_kuzm1nsky: looks like you need to rip down some data about armhf debs from buildbot. "Subject: [Emc-users] buildbot web page"
10:13 AM seb_kuzm1nsky is now known as seb_kuzminsky
10:16 AM seb_kuzminsky: oops, they're called scratch-sim, not scratch-rtpreempt, i'll change the docs
10:16 AM seb_kuzminsky: they really should be called scratch-uspace of course :-/
10:22 AM jepler_: seb_kuzminsky: I thought you deactivated the armhf builders altogether
10:23 AM jepler_: at least you were threatening to a few weeks ago
10:23 AM jepler_: seb_kuzminsky: (hi!)
10:37 AM seb_kuzminsky: i did promise/threaten to do that, yeah, but i didnt
10:37 AM seb_kuzminsky: hi!
12:57 PM pcw_mesa: 7C80/RPI up about 10 days now OK if you do not demand really fast display updates (or have very dense backplots)
01:28 PM pcw_mesa: strange, RPI hal times seem to be in ns not cpu clocks...
01:32 PM jthornton: pcw_mesa, I never could find a newer copy of mesaflash
01:35 PM pcw_mesa: dId you build it from source?
01:47 PM jthornton: from master yes
01:47 PM jthornton: I think I did...
01:47 PM seb_kuzminsky: try the v3.3 branch, not master
01:48 PM jthornton: ok I'll look for that when I get back out to the shop
01:48 PM jthornton: thanks
01:48 PM seb_kuzminsky: pcw_mesa: is the rpi cpu frequency 1 GHz by any chance? :-)
01:49 PM pcw_mesa: not according to what their clock speed util says
01:49 PM pcw_mesa: it says 1.2 GHz
01:54 PM Tom_L: jthornton, https://github.com/micges/mesaflash
01:56 PM pcw_mesa: but may be lying...
01:57 PM jthornton: last commit was Feb 27 2017...
01:57 PM pcw_mesa: apparently some of the other ARM SOCs lie about CPU speed... (raises the selling price I guess)
01:58 PM Tom_L: i think that's the latest? pcw_home?
01:58 PM micges: 3.3 is the latest
01:58 PM Tom_L: not on that link?
01:58 PM pcw_mesa: 3.3 (maybe should be bumped to 3.4 with the 7I96 patches)
02:05 PM Tom_L: is that bundled on the iso now?
02:22 PM pcw_mesa: I think you need to fetch it with apt-get
02:24 PM jepler_: you can determine the version of mesaflash on the iso in any of the normal debian ways, and it'll update in the normal debian ways as well. It appears that the version on the latest iso and the latest version in the linuxcnc.org apt repository identifies as 3.3.0~pre0+dfsg-0
02:24 PM jepler_: (normal debian ways = apt policy <packagename> and others)
03:12 PM JT-Shop: I still get transformer Sec. func after building from source and running the local copy
06:14 PM TurBoss[m] is now known as TurBoss
08:38 PM pcw_home: did you check out 3.3?
09:10 PM pcw_home: (mesaflash master is older than 3.3)
