07:36 AM archivist: cnczone is broken :)
07:37 AM archivist: interesting as cloudfare is telling me about their 502 problem
08:49 AM -!- #linuxcnc-devel mode set to +v by ChanServ
08:51 AM jepler: cradek: welcome back
08:54 AM cradek: "we accidentally kicked off all the users in a way that makes their clients never reconnect" is sure a mistake
09:05 AM skunkworks: it was probably your clients fault
09:06 AM skunkworks: wow - when did peter make a galvanic isolator for the 25pin interface
09:07 AM skunkworks: I swear he must be able to manifest circuit boards out thin air

09:43 AM jepler: https://wiki.debian.org/ArmHardFloatChroot
09:44 AM jepler: (but don't take that page's advice about sources.list, you do *NOT* want sid)
09:53 AM jepler: last time I looked a chroot with qemu-arm-static is a feasible way to build a linuxcnc package for armhf/arm64, it just can't run the testsuite
09:56 AM skunkworks: heh - I read that as feeble way..
09:59 AM cradek: I would say that's good enough, except for how I remember the test suite finding several obscure arm-specific problems
11:03 AM jepler: Status: successful
11:03 AM jepler: Version: 1:2.7.11
11:03 AM jepler: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11:03 AM jepler: Finished at 2017-08-17T15:20:55Z
11:03 AM jepler: Build needed 00:35:30, 346788k disk space
11:03 AM jepler: nice, having succeeded in setting up an armhf chroot, I could build a package just by invoking: $ sbuild -A --arch=armhf -d stretch-armhf-sbuild http://linuxcnc.org/dists/stretch/2.7-uspace/source/linuxcnc_2.7.11.dsc

11:49 AM archivist: 142db is well above human damage level
