10:59 AM seb_kuzminsky: cradek's like a creature from myth now
11:00 AM seb_kuzminsky: we can still see his foot steps in the git history, but he's wandering the land and no one's seen him for years
11:00 AM cradek: actually I'm right here watching
11:01 AM seb_kuzminsky: ohai!
11:01 AM cradek: :-)
12:19 PM seb_kuzminsky: cradek: well it was worth a try
02:17 PM * cradek shakes his head at Nicklas
02:30 PM mozmck: I think it have bugs
02:31 PM cradek: I tried to help once, and happily I didn't send my second response
02:32 PM mozmck: :-) It obviously has bugs, because it is software!
02:32 PM cradek: yes but an [unnamed] old version that was completely different worked
02:32 PM mozmck: different bugs I guess.
02:32 PM cradek: and didn't give the [unnamed] error
02:41 PM jepler: "lib/python/gladevcp/hal_glib.py"
02:41 PM jepler: he's porked something up, because no branch I can find has that file in it
02:41 PM jepler: or rather, not at that location
02:42 PM cradek: I wonder if this is the error he's asking about in the other thread, or something separate
03:05 PM mozmck: Has anyone here used with devuan?
03:06 PM mozmck: used Linuxcnc with Devuan that is...
04:37 PM jepler: not me
04:40 PM jepler: if devuan jessie is substantially like debian jessie in its userspace then linuxcnc should be fine.
04:42 PM jepler: (I don't like lennart poettering's interaction style, but his taint isn't enough to get me to go through one extra hoop to get sysvinit back, let alone leave the debian ecosystem entirely)
04:42 PM seb_kuzminsky: yeah, debian's still where it's at
04:43 PM jepler: but hey, compilation reports and patches for making linuxcnc work well on other distros are always welcome
05:28 PM jepler: anyone have comments about http://media.unpythonic.net/stretch-announce-draft.txt ? what should I mention, and is there anything I can remove? Is it best to direct it to the -devel list only at this time or should it go to -users?
05:30 PM cradek: that looks fine, and I would try it out in -devel first
05:37 PM seb_kuzminsky: looks good jepler
05:59 PM JT-Shop: looks good to me, I can give it a test in the morning
