[12:24:02] <tss_> hey can somebody help me with gmoccapy i can't change the jog speed
[12:25:00] <seb_kuzminsky> cmorley might be the guy to ask
[12:26:07] <tss_> i am not sure but if i understand right i have to put DEFAULT_LINEAR_VELOCITY = 1666
[12:26:07] <tss_> MAX_LINEAR_VELOCITY = 1666 to ini right
[12:27:05] <seb_kuzminsky> which branch are you using?
[12:28:28] <seb_kuzminsky> have you seen this?
http://linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/config/ini_config.html#_display_section_a_id_sub_display_section_a
[12:28:40] <tss_> i check
[12:33:20] <tss_> its only for axis
[12:33:22] <tss_> http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Gmoccapy
[12:34:06] <tss_> omg i need to train my english haha
[12:34:27] <tss_> for the setings i only need to change the .ini right
[12:34:38] <tss_> or is there one more file to make changes
[12:36:14] <tss_> MAX_LINEAR_VELOCITY = 166.666
[12:36:14] <tss_> Sets the value of the max velocity for jogging in machine units per second.
[12:36:14] <tss_> If no value is given, a value of 60 will be applied.
[12:36:47] <tss_> i changed it but i can't get higher then 60
[14:01:04] <JT-Shop> stinking wildblue says I use another GB yesterday
[14:07:04] <skunkworks> yeck
[14:07:22] <skunkworks> how much can you use a month?
[14:09:09] <JT-Shop> 10GB
[14:10:17] <JT-Shop> I've had everything turned off for a week or better, no videos no nothing
[14:10:51] <JT-Shop> I've only used 0.255GB on this computer in the last week
[14:11:06] <JT-Shop> and less on the other windblows computer
[14:11:11] <cradek> is that thing they show in, out, or in+out?
[14:11:18] <JT-Shop> in+out
[14:11:44] <cradek> can you ask them for help if you can't find the errant thing?
[14:11:54] <JT-Shop> I've emailed them
[14:12:43] <JT-Shop> there is some talk about when it rains the modem keeps trying to connect and runs up the meter
[14:12:55] <cradek> ha, yikes
[14:17:48] <skunkworks> when I had hughesnet - I had a 120mb 'bucked' that I could drain as fast as I wanted - but would refill at a rate of 58k
[14:19:09] <JT-Shop> my neighbor had hugesnet and he got $400 bills for a couple of months till he unplugged it
[14:19:37] <skunkworks> never had that issue - this was through dish.
[14:19:52] <skunkworks> and about 10 years ago
[14:20:01] <skunkworks> or more
[14:20:09] <JT-Shop> this was 3-4 years ago when he told me about it
[14:20:48] <skunkworks> satillite is the last resort over dialup.
[14:21:33] <JT-Shop> yea, my old provider had radio modems but a crazy neighbor sued him and he took the tower down
[14:21:44] <skunkworks> yeck
[14:41:55] <skunkworks> micges, any luck with the 7i80? :)
[14:42:33] <micges> nope, does not want to work with UB and latest xeno
[14:43:14] <micges> I think I must resolve first aboard ddressing problems we all had
[14:43:16] <skunkworks> yeck
[14:43:27] <skunkworks> (I have been saying yeck a lot...)
[14:43:30] <skunkworks> today
[14:45:23] <micges> becouse it's friday ?
[14:45:25] <micges> ;)
[16:31:54] <kwallace> JT-Shop: I have RRDtool and SNMP set up on a PC to monitor my routers to see were the traffic is coming from. I pay around $160 a month, but I have had bills up to $400. I found an old Win95 PC that never got turned on, but was, and was hacked into. After that my brother got an iPad and it sends and receives big buckets of data on its own. Otherwise I'd be spending around $50 per month. :(
[16:41:10] <JT-Shop> kwallace: my wife has an eye pad
[16:41:57] <JT-Shop> jymm looked at my modem model and I think it does not have SNMP
[16:42:24] <JT-Shop> are you on satillite?
[19:11:10] <cmorley> Seb: thanks for looking at builtbot errors on my test branch I will test your changes later tonight.
