11:37 PM aandrew: no, no, not a hub at all. just a convenient way to use cat5 to extend a 6 conductor cable
11:38 PM aandrew: well not for usbc, I had to sever the vbus of the usbc since it's getting powered from the upstream board on that 6 pin cable, but I could have used it there too
