01:45 AM aandrew: TL;DR: Aliexpress and JLC i am finding (for the items they havent 404ed) the price is reflective of total out of pocket. ttheyre big enough to have own import distributer, so they are paying the tariff for you but of course their front end priced are increased to reflect that.
02:10 AM rifraf: rue_mohr kinda, i plug that into ESC and have variable speed control knob for new drill press motor, pimping it out a bit, with a 40k motor, need for the smaller bits, and more torque

02:15 AM rifraf: so yes now its a $185AU drillpress, still not bad for 50k rpm with good torque, 0 runout on bits and chuck, and self centering 'precise' chuck, fits in your hand and runs from any RC battery
02:17 AM rifraf: need a nice brass knob for that pot, but that can be a lathe job one night, make a knob that neatly conseals the whole pot and pcb

03:03 PM rifraf: linkage as in how does the lifter lift and twist etc to load unload, or it just goes up down and you move the machine around the bucket?
