07:04 AM Tom_L: i was able to use 1.2.1 but he had to revert to 1.2.0 for some unknown reason
07:05 AM JT-Cave: the only thing flex is doing is updating the dro and other status labels during a probe move
07:05 AM Tom_L: it's got to be something the parport signals are interferring with

07:23 AM Tom_L: The primary problem is that interactions with hardware ports (parallel, serial, etc.) are often blocking operations that can freeze your PyQt6 application's main user interface thread
07:23 AM Tom_L: i don't think that applies because you're not accessing the port hardware itself
07:28 AM Tom_L: maybe if you put a parport card in with a bob just sitting there it _might_ trigger it
