08:49 AM rdtsc-w: plan b is ... pool? :)
08:49 AM JT-MShop: jack up the grinder and pull it on the trailer with cumalongs
08:50 AM rdtsc-w: crikey be careful
08:50 AM rdtsc-w: hmm, anything that the car lift could help with? (raise grinder, drive trailer under)
08:51 AM JT-Shop: lift is in the big shop along with the gantry crane
08:51 AM JT-Shop: nothing in here to lift with...
08:52 AM rdtsc-w: H-beam temporarily placed on rafters? just throwing out ideas
08:55 AM JT-Shop: machine shop has OSB on the ceiling and walls
08:59 AM rdtsc-w: so 310A a no-go?
09:12 AM JT-Shop: it's an option yes, just not sure how to lift it with the loader
09:14 AM rdtsc-w: chains
09:16 AM JT-Shop: in either case it needs to be closer to the door
10:06 AM JT-Shop: just moving the hoe wore me out
10:24 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> good morning
10:26 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> just 58 right now. forecast mid 70's today. cooling more tomorrow and Saturday
10:27 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> dry and a little overcast.

12:34 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> well. ride time..... bbl
03:55 PM JT-Mobile: Starlink is down
03:56 PM xxcoder: checked downdetector. wow its been down for a while
03:56 PM xxcoder: way to bust the 9s
04:00 PM JT-Mobile: The entire starlink is down?
04:04 PM xxcoder: dont know
04:04 PM xxcoder: downdetectors show massive number of down complants
04:05 PM JT-Mobile: Looks like it is a global outage
04:06 PM JT-Mobile: I connected a mobile hot spot to my laptop
04:08 PM JT-Mobile: T mobile broke it
04:09 PM xxcoder: I just use visible for internet lol
04:10 PM JT-Mobile: I only have one option here
04:11 PM xxcoder: https://www.visible.com/
04:14 PM xxcoder: they dont allow you to tether phone to a router, but it was ez fix for me, just tether to my pc, then turn my pc into hotspot
04:15 PM Tom_L: never tried using my phone as a hotspot
04:16 PM xxcoder: visible can do it, but limited to 3 devices. so with tethering I bypass that. though not by much, and most connected devices use very little bandwidth
04:16 PM xxcoder: my pc is virtually all of it
04:16 PM Tom_L: mine can i just never have
04:19 PM JT-Mobile: Hmm can't print while on the hot spot
04:19 PM Tom_L: wifi?
04:19 PM Tom_L: not on the same network
04:31 PM JT-Mobile: Angry ip says I'm on 10
04:31 PM Tom_L: 10 what?
04:31 PM Tom_L: mesa has no wifi boards....
04:31 PM JT-Mobile: 10.xx.xx.xx
04:32 PM Tom_L: it must be confused
04:32 PM JT-Mobile: Plugged the printer into a USB ethernet adapter
04:32 PM JT-Mobile: Very
04:34 PM JT-Mobile: 10
04:34 PM JT-Mobile: 10.31.39
04:35 PM Tom_L: is that the hotspot?
04:35 PM JT-Mobile: My guess is without the router passing out ip address the pc is confused
04:36 PM Tom_L: likely so
04:36 PM JT-Mobile: The hot spot is wifi I think
04:36 PM Tom_L: yeah
04:36 PM Tom_L: i could probably have my printer discover the hotspot wifi but don't think i would go to that trouble
04:37 PM Tom_L: kindof a pain anyway
04:37 PM Tom_L: under normal conditions i can print from my phone anyway
04:38 PM Tom_L: i don't normally do that
04:40 PM Tom_L: The Android built-in WiFi tethering is designed to use 192.168.43.1/24
04:41 PM Tom_L: the article goes on to say it's a PITA to work with
04:41 PM Tom_L: paraphrased...
04:44 PM JT-Mobile: Doesn't seem to be that address here
04:44 PM Tom_L: yeah, i have no idea
04:51 PM JT-Shop: looks like elon fixed it
05:00 PM JT-Shop: what a pia when that happens
05:14 PM Tom_L: yup
