04:25 AM Tom_L: morning
04:34 AM JT-Cave: morning
04:35 AM JT-Cave: 79°F
06:17 AM JT-Cave: humidity 100% yuck
06:30 AM lcnc-relay: <travis_farmer@> JT, time to break out the SCUBA gear and go for a swim in the air 😉
07:35 AM Tom_L: 75F / 93F
08:41 AM JT-Cave: so I've tested out my 7i96s spindle code and I think I'm done with that
08:42 AM JT-Cave: now to test the 7i76e and 7i76eu
09:29 AM rdtsc-w: ooh don't forget the 7c8x users :)
09:31 AM rdtsc-w: spindle example is harder to find than anything else
10:06 AM JT-Shop: does a 7c8x have a pot replacement type spindle device?
10:07 AM JT-Shop: like the 7i76e(u) and 7i76s
10:40 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> good morning
10:41 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> JT-Cave: the weather reports show you're in the shits
10:42 AM JT-Shop: it's raining... sweat
11:01 AM rdtsc-w: JT, yep, prolly very similar to the other mesa's
11:14 AM JT-Shop: so they have spindle +, spindle - and spindle out on the 7c8x?
11:15 AM Tom_L: glad the 310A is back to it's old self
11:16 AM JT-Shop: actually better than it's been in a long time
11:16 AM JT-Shop: now I need to weld the flat bar on the trailer to hold the boards down
11:27 AM Tom_L: lemme know when you decide to push some spindle code
11:27 AM Tom_L: i don't check that one daily
11:31 AM JT-Shop: ok
11:31 AM rdtsc-w: yes JT, and congrats on the 310A - maybe it was all a grounding issue? :)
11:31 AM JT-Shop: I did verify that min and max limits for fwd and rev are working with 2.9.1 and the 7i96s
11:31 AM Tom_L: oh, that ini issue?
11:32 AM JT-Shop: yup
11:32 AM Tom_L: good
11:32 AM rdtsc-w: 2.9.4 is good or?
11:32 AM JT-Shop: not tested
11:33 AM JT-Shop: latest "should" be the best
11:33 AM rdtsc-w: aah wasn't sure if you were saying newer versions had an unchecked issue
11:33 AM JT-Shop: I was using the debian version that you get from the debian repo
11:33 AM JT-Shop: which is 2.9.0~pre
11:34 AM rdtsc-w: yeah, confusing that the repo hasn't been updated
11:34 AM JT-Shop: rdtsc-w, multiple issues, the ground clamp and the key switch
11:34 AM JT-Shop: the napa keyswitch really worked as it should
11:34 AM rdtsc-w: napa for the win :)
11:35 AM Tom_L: did you have to get a new battery?
11:35 AM JT-Shop: no
11:35 AM Tom_L: good
11:35 AM JT-Shop: but I still might need one because I forget how old this one is lol
11:35 AM JT-Shop: but I can start it so on with the move... worry about battery later
11:36 AM Tom_L: now you can almost get the grinder loaded
11:37 AM JT-Shop: need to bush hog the way out for the hoe now as it's all grown up
11:38 AM rdtsc-w: it's a hoe - run it over :) that'll make cleanup harder though
11:38 AM JT-Shop: don't want to rip up any dangling hoses lol
11:38 AM JT-Shop: some look pretty dodgy
11:39 AM rdtsc-w: best to not cause more work for yourself then
11:39 AM rdtsc-w: 'cause replacing hydraulic hoses is not on the top of anybody's wish-list
11:40 AM JT-Shop: still got to bolt the seat back on...
11:40 AM JT-Shop: I've replaced most of them digging out for the big shop as well as all 4 tires at the same time
11:41 AM rdtsc-w: if you do have to replace a hose, tape a shop vac to the filler - hydraulic fluid is expensive
01:03 PM lcnc-relay: <roguish> ride time...... bbl
