07:22 AM rdtsc-w: morning... over the past week or so I'd ordered all new hoses, valves, and couplers for above-ground pool since they were old and leaky. Wednesday, all the parts finally arrived, but no time then, so waited until Thurs.
07:22 AM rdtsc-w: would you believe, shortly before leaving work yesterday, got a call that the pool was leaking and backyard was flooding. got home and found the return hose had broken... in the middle! how does a return hose break in the middle? Just an hour before I was about to replace it?
07:24 AM Tom_L: magic
07:43 AM JT-Cave: my pool doesn't have any hoses... it gets a bit muddy sometimes
07:43 AM JT-Cave: https://ibb.co/v4HmrxRr
08:10 AM rdtsc-w: Nice JT, curious, can you link to https://gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/designer.html#building-a-gui or similar in it?
08:12 AM rdtsc-w: make it as easy as possible for users to find the right info
08:38 AM JT-Cave: yes, you can have clickable links in a label
08:38 AM JT-Cave: working on some videos for it
08:45 AM JT-Cave: https://ibb.co/gMLsdZ2x
09:08 AM Tom_L: cool
09:09 AM Tom_L: btw, the blue underlined links don't work in a pic

09:38 AM JT-Cave: opps
09:43 AM JT-Cave: refresh again, you might have to use ctrl shift r
09:45 AM Tom_L: better
09:51 AM Tom_L: what layout do you use the most?
09:52 AM JT-Shop: it really depends on what is in the container, I use a grid a lot but sometimes it makes sense to use vert or horz
09:52 AM Tom_L: from within each container?
09:52 AM JT-Shop: yup
09:53 AM Tom_L: so you can use multiple layouts
09:53 AM JT-Shop: one layout per container
09:53 AM Tom_L: right
09:53 AM Tom_L: do you add the widgets then select the layout or vise versa?
09:54 AM Tom_L: i found they sometimes like to do their own thing
09:54 AM Tom_L: but i haven't messed with em hardly at all
09:54 AM JT-Shop: you have to have one thing in the container to add a layout
09:54 AM Tom_L: ok
09:55 AM rdtsc-w: good thing to note
10:52 AM Tom_L: pacemakers are roughly $50k
10:52 AM Tom_L: top tip of the day :)
10:53 AM Tom_L: oh, not counting the doc
10:54 AM JT-Shop: or the hospital or...
10:56 AM Tom_L: that was the hospital
10:56 AM JT-Shop: oh
10:56 AM Tom_L: icu for 3? days
10:56 AM JT-Shop: I thought you meant the device itself
10:56 AM Tom_L: hilton is alot cheaper
10:56 AM Tom_L: oh, i haven't looked at the detail yet
10:57 AM Tom_L: it's a state of the art one so i'm sure it's extra
10:58 AM JT-Shop: we stayed at days inn and what a dump and the bill was $340 for two nights... for the track day we are staying at the drury for $303 for 2 nights and it's a 3 star hotel with hot breakfast
